A Remarkable Young Poet

One of the highlights of my vacation was meeting Jamie, an aspiring young poet who came to visit me at my vacation cabin with her mom. As her mom and I caught up on the back porch, I used my telephoto lens to snap this picture as she was writing this poem. How many 11 year olds even write poetry? Vacation Was Very Nice

Sorry, but I've been out of touch for a couple of weeks. A wonderfully generous couple (thanks again Garrett and Kelly!)let me use their near perfect mountain getaway. Here is the cabin's "backyard." I stitched together four pictures and then a good friend of mine was generous enough to give me some PhotoShop lessons by using my print. He added the sky and volcano!
